The Planned Administrationof Musashino CitySince FY1971, Musashino City has managed administrative affairs in a planned manner, with theMusashino City Long-Term Plan serving as the basis of municipal administration. The City will continueto manage municipal administration in a planned manner, with the aim of realizing a“sustainable citywhich we can be proud of to leave to the next generation.”Musashino City Long-Term PlanThe Long-Term Plan is positioned at the top ofthe individual plans which are formulated foreach area of administration. The Long-TermPlan presents the City’s vision for the futureLong-Term Plan(Fifth Long-Term Plan)and is the most important plan aimed at comprehensiveand planned municipal administration.Since the first plan was established in1971, the formulation committee comprised ofresidents has led the efforts of establishingIndividual PlanHealth and WelfareComprehensive PlanIndividual PlanChildren’s PlanIndividual PlanCity PlanningMaster PlanIndividual PlanOther Plansand adjusting the plan at regular intervals.Operationalization(Budgeting)Planning Period and Plan RolloverThe Long-Term Plan is a ten-year plan. The first five years isthe implementation plan, and the last five years is the visionplan.
