There are people who carry out ongoing activities to protect the greenery.There are groups which create opportunities for people to interact through nature.Many more activities are being conducted actively by members of the community.Your first step ahead participating in the creation of a community park,protecting places of solace where filled with greeneryKonohana Koji Park is located in 3-chome Kichijoji-kitamachi.From the development of the concept of the park, communitymembers were involved in its entire creation. Plants and treeswhich consist primarily of wildflowers grow lusciously, and astream flows from which one can hear the gentle sound ofwater. Contrary to parks where there are people playing at theplayground, you will find people spending quiet time as theyplease under the shades of trees. This park is managed by theIkimono Banzai Club. Comprised of 25 members in their 50s to80s, the Club carries out park maintenance work twice a month.08
