70 years of historyleading up to todayPeople have lived in the Musashino area since the Stone Age. Many people moved here in the Edo period. They used Tamagawa Josui Canal and Senkawa Josui Canal as sources of water for farming. In the Meiji period, the current JR Chuo Line was opened and the area developed as a satellite town. During the war, munitions factories in the area became the targets of erce bombing, causing signicant damage. After the war, Musashino recovered from the destruction and carried out community development together with the residents in line with the times. As a cultural city of abundant nature, the city of Musashino will continue its endeavors going forward.Timeline51
