Children and adults learn togetherHarappa Disaster Preparedness FestaThis festival focuses on educating people on disaster-prevention awareness through activities such as hands-on drills, exhibit and educational booths, displays on activities by disaster-prevention institutions etc. People of all ages can readily join in this event conducted to increase disaster preparedness and improve the ability to act in times of disaster. The patrol members are making the rounds today and everydayso that the city remains safeBlue Cap and White EagleBlue Cap members conduct activities wearing a blue uniform and cap. They patrol in the vicinity of Kichijoji Station to prevent solicitations and control roadside advertising activities. The White Eagle patrols the city to prevent crimes.The city is divided into 3 districts and patrolled by 67 patrol members primarily active when children are going to and from school.
