The facilities encourage child development through play and offer support that includes information and counseling regarding parenting. The purpose of the facilities is to increase interaction in the community between children and parents.Things you see, hear and touchEverything is new and extraordinarySecond SchoolSecond School is an educational program for 5th graders and 1st-year jr. high school students at city schools that increases the childrens’ social awareness through long-term stays in rural areas. Activities are implemented that cannot be experienced in ordinary school life (First School). The program nurtures a rich sensitivity and sentiment in the children, kindles intellectual curiosity and a spirit of inquiry and cultivates a desire and mindset toward resolving issues.Getting to know each family and offering information on child care services according to wishesChild Care ConciergeIn addition to registered and non-registered childcare facilities and kindergartens, the city also has a variety of child care/early childhood education facilities and services, such as temporary child care and child care for children who are ill or recovering from illness. The child care concierge introduces professionals such as child care specialists to provide tailored information on child care services.
