The city is enhancing counseling resources, such as child care concierges, and taking on the establishment of a parenting support website, Musashino Suku-Suku Navi and improvements to child care facilities to eliminate the wait for child care services. The city is also boosting assistance for families experiencing difculties raising children and families with nancial difculties.School education is aiming to nurture the ability to live that balances knowledge, virtues and physical health so that even as society changes due to internationalization and computerization, children can lead a rich life while cooperating with a diversity of people and become creators of a sustainable society. Musashino is promoting distinctive education unique to our city, including the Second School program.From the perspective of special needs education, the city also is striving to enhance carefully crafted instruction and provide educational support through actions such as heightening collaboration with relevant institutions and placement of persons such as school social workers.Playgrounds where children can enjoy tree climbing, crafts and traditional play etc., under adult supervision.Baby Kichi lends strollers for free and began with a suggestion from a jr. high school student.31
