A spirit of mutual support is born through relationshipsStriving to be a city in which everyone can live with peace of mind through mutual support and assistanceBased on the principle of community rehabilitation, Musashino is promoting community development that allows residents to continue living in a familiar environment on their own volition, regardless of age, health condition or disability.Aiming for 2025, the city is working toward the ideal of senior citizens who remain active and healthy and can continue living in a familiar community even when living alone, suffering from dementia or requiring nursing care.The city is also making efforts to promote a barrier-free mentality and the expansion of employment opportunities and job search support for disabled with the aim of creating a society where each and every individual is respected, can demonstrate individuality and play a role.Furthermore, Musashino is focusing on developing infrastructure, including offering a support service for living at home available 24 hours, promoting universal design, nurturing human resources and improving qualifications for welfare professionals.
